Extra Crispy Air-Fryer Fries (No-Oil)

These EXTRA crispy fries are made with NO OIL but LOTS of flavor (you would never guess they were oil free)!! Made in just one bowl, they are super simple and SUPER delicious! These are definitely worth a try. Have them on their own as a snack, or with a nice juicy Black Bean Burger! (Oil-Free, GF and Vegan)

Equipment

  • Air-Fryer
  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Large Russet Potato
  • 2 tsp Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour (Or regular if you aren't GF)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions
 

  • Peel potatoes and cut into long thin strips, placing in a bowl of cold water as you go.
  • Preheat the air-fryer per instructions. (Mine pre-heats at 400 for 5 min)
  • Drain all the water from the bowl containing the potato strips.
  • Add ALL the spices and flour into the bowl and mix well!
  • Place in a single layer in the Air-Fryer. Fry on 390° for 15 minutes.
    Shake the fries after 10 minutes to help cook evenly.
  • Serve straight away with your favorite dips!

Notes

I made this recipe with 3 Large Russet Potatoes and I just tripled the ingredients and it worked brilliantly! 
Just remember if you do double or triple the recipe, you will probably have to do it in batches.  I usually do all the fries in batches and then throw ALL of them in together for a minute or two at the end just to warm and freshen up!
