Welcome To My Plant-Based Kitchen

As a lifetime Vegan/Vegetarian, I have seen the plant-based world take off recently. I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled and lived all around the world, and in doing so, I have enjoyed many different plant-based cuisines. My favorite food is usually Thai or Indian, but there are so many more delicious Plant-Based recipes for every taste! As you will see, I have recently become obsessed with SOURDOUGH, and our family enjoys Sourdough Bagels and Sourdough Pizza weekly!!
My family has not always wanted to be Plant-Based like me, but slowly over the years (whether they wanted to or not- and after a few painful months with gout for my husband)) they are now 99% converted to a plant-based lifestyle. So when I am cooking, it is VERY important to find and create recipes that EVERYONE in my family will enjoy. (Even my picky 6 year old!)
As for my education background, I have always had a love of Science and Nutrition (and pretty Photography obviously). I completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology (Minor in Nutrition), as well as a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography & Design. I recently completed my Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell, and hope to incorporate this into helping others get started on their own Plant-Based journey!
I hope you find this site helpful in creating some very yummy plant-based food! Remember, change can be slow, but any steps you can take towards a more healthful life, is positive change. It may not happen all at once, but it can happen. Your health, and the health of the planet, depend on it!!
