Instructions
- Start by draining and pressing the Tofu. (Place in paper towels and tea towel with something heavy sitting on top for 15 minutes. This will release any extra liquid from the tofu so it can soak up all the flavor))
- In a mixing bowl, mix together all the remaining ingredients.
- Once the Tofu is pressed, cut the tofu in long thin rectangles. The thinner the tofu, the crispier and more charred it will become. (Your personal preference!)
- Place the tofu in a shallow bowl or baking dish and pour the marinade mixture over top. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for an hour, or over night if you prefer. (The longer it marinates the tastier it will be!)
- Once ready to cook, pre-heat the Air-Fryer. Place a single layer of tofu in the air-fryer. You may need to do more than one batch.
- Fry the tofu on 390ºF for 15 minutes, flipping the tofu half way.
- Once done, serve immediately. Store leftover Tofu in a sealed container in the fridge up to 6 days. To reheat, place in Air-Fryer on 390ºF for 3 or 4 minutes.
